Default ignition key resistor values

Does anyone have a list of the resistor values for the ignition keys? I assume I can read this with my multimeter just need to know what values corresponds with what key code. I need to make a duplicate before I'm screwed! Lol

if you want to bypass VATS unplug the yellow /brown plug to the(2) white wires plug at the base of the steering column.. find the resisitor value for you key set. buy one then insert one end of it to the yellow wire and the other end to the brown wire... now you can use a regular cut key if you like.. or solder in a switch and have the best of both ....

to read the values, use an ohm meter measuring your key resistor, then apply it to the table in the previous thread

392,/523,/681,/887,/1,130,/1,470,/1,870,/2,370,/3,010,/3,740,/4,750,/6,040,/7,500,/9,530,/11,800, they sell a kit with all these in it for $5 online put one lead from your multimeter on one side of the resistor on your present key and the other lead on the other side, it will give you the resistance of your key, take that to any locksmith shop and have them cut a new resister key to match your present one, runs bout $20. once you know the resistance, any locksmith can provide the correct key, when you find out what the number is, write it down someplace safe.
