Default Vortech supercharger help

I recently just bought a Vortech supercharger with a procharger intercooler. I was wondering if i was missing any piping or parts. Do i need to go with an 8 rib belt and will the intercooler fit?

Welcome!

Good luck with your install. I suggest attaching pics of what you have. We need more info to be able to help.

Good luck with that. You're going to have to mock it up and figure out what you're missing from there.

The 8 rib will be a nice upgrade. It will allow higher boost with smaller pullies without having belt slip.

I'll be probably only using about 8lbs of boost.

8lbs of boost a decent gain in horsepower. The s/c is going on a rebuilt 350 or 383 that has aftermarket parts(don't feel like naming them unless necessary)

That intercooler will suck up at least 3 lbs so you'll be lucky to see 7 lbs.

How will the intercooler suck up that much? Is the intercooler a bad design or is that with every intercooler. Im going to send the supercharger to vortech and let them go through it and change the fins for higher boost. I'll probably go with an 8 rib pulley just going from the crank to the s/c.

Is meth injection expensive though? And I don't know the rotation yet it hasn't arrived and it didn't say on the ebay article. I'm expecting it to be here soon.

Nope, not bad. It's $400 for a kit. 4 gallons of boost juice is $30 and that will last you quite a while

Hey thanks for your help, i know it has to be annoying that i keep asking questions. I did some research to understand the system and how it work but the article didn't explain it very well. If you know an article or a simple way to explain how it works it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Brandyn
