I am wondering if anyone has a coil over set up on there 96 C4,
My question is what is the safe ride height between the tire top and the fender lip, reason is I want to slam my vehicle for a photo shoot but need to leave it at a safe gap so I dont crack a fender lip driving to the shoot.
Right now I have a DRM full coilover set up, I am running 285/17's front 315/17's back on polished GS A molds.
Right now the fender lip sits about 26.5 inches from the ground and the tire top sits about 1.25" inch from the fender lip, I am more concerned about the rear with the 315 sticking out a bit.
If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated.
If you click the bottom photo in my siggy you can see how she sits now.
drive to the shoot, take your wrench with you and slam it there, my 315 sticks out like yours and sits at about that level in your pic. i can feel it when I hit bumps to fast but mines not a show car.

Too much of a hassle, I would have to bring a jack, that means another vehicle would have to be braught and it is going to be on the grass for the shoot.
I dont feel it hit anything the way it is now, this is the way it left DRM, after it was weighed and balanced,, so it has never been adjusted since.
