New upgrades - two questions
Just got my 85 out of the shop today, I had them install a new duel 2.5" exhaust. I recently put a pair of flow masters 40's on, professional products TB, and installed painted TPIS long tube headers (no cat). I haven't drove it but a few blocks and it sounds nice.
Two questions:
1. Will the heat from the headers cook my wires, starter, etc. without a heat shield? I bought a shield but will have to remove everything to install it.
2. With these mods will a custom burnt chip be worth the time and effort?
