Default Rocker arm studs

Quick question. On my build I'm changing out the stock 3/8" rocker arms to the 7/16". Anyways is there a torque spec for the new studs or can I just assume its the same as what the FSM says.
thanks

AFR uses 60 pounds of torque on their studs, it should be about the same for yours.

i replaced the GM 3/8" rocker studs on my 113 heads with ARP 234-7202 (typical SBC applicaton) 7/16" rocker studs. ARP instructions call for 55ft-lbs with moly lube, 70ft-lbs with 30wt motor oil.

Did you use guideplates with these studs?

Thanks

yes, i replaced the GM "assembly aid" pushrod-holder plates with normal SBC guideplates. i also replaced the pushrods with hardened ones. and while i was at it, i installed roller rockers, non-self-aligning regular wide-body (i.e. not narrow-body). actually, the latter was the objective.
