Why do my posts disaper?

Editing posts and/or deleting them has been known to be done more than once/twice. To define it as regular would need further qualification.
Heated (and especially insulting) discussions are almost always edited if they last more than a post or two. Depends on if/how long before someone reports it.
This is supposed to be a forum for a friendly exchange of ideas/knowledge. After all, you KNOW every Corvette owner admires EVERY OTHER Corvette owner -- regardless of whether they have a wing or body kit!

The record shows the three most recent posts you made that "disappeared" were deleted by you.
Before that, you posted an unresolved dispute thread on something you bought on eBay.

You failed to mention the vendor offered to take the item back or to send you a check to cover the missing part, even through the eBay description had said the part was missing.
Site rules allow for the posting of a factual account of an unresolved dispute, but they don't allow turning the dispute thread into a running dialog with third-parties who have no direct knowledge of the dispute.
