The inside mirror in the '88 Vette mounts like that in the '86 IROC but differs in that the IROC doesn't have lights. Even the IROC power day/night mirror didnt have map lights.
The mounting of the outside mirrors is the same (of course the Vette has heated ones and the IROC doesn't).
