headlights wont fully close, need help.
Here's the rundown. I just put the newer style 88-up headlight assemblies on my 84. They run just fine, but neither lamp closes 100%. They lack an inch at most. Any ideas??

neither of the above answers worked.....I could adjust the stops, but that wouldn't do any good. they would still not completely close. I cant even completely close them by hand. They roll perfectly, open fully, make no noises....they just don't finish the close 100%. The drivers side is the worst of the two, it misses closing by a little over 1/2 inch. The passenger side is about a 1/4 inch.
Are there any good ways to adjust them??

the ***** get VERY tight, I've turned them both until I cannot turn them without mechanical advantage (channel locks), and they still fail to close. they are freshly rebuilt, I'm almost tempted to see if channel locks wont do the trick...
