Just purchased a FPR for the car and although it should be a straight forward install I wanted to double check here first for any insight/recommendations or possibly and do's and dont's.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated....time to buy some service manuals now that the car is getting slowly up there in age.
Nothing special when I had mine off, but it's worth triple checking your work as you go simply because you'd have to pull the plenum again for even a minor leak..

This is very important, turn the key on and power the fuel pump to make sure you don't have leaks... Also if the diaphram is older it might be a good idea to replace that while your at it. TPIS has the best price that I have found on these at around $39.00..WW

No plenum to pull on the LT4. Very straight forward job.

Not on his GS
Just have to remove the plastic fuel rail cover.

1) relieve pressure in the rails before removing fpr...pull fuel pump fuse and 'run till quit' then wrap shop rag over shrader (test) port and depress shrader core to bleed any residual pressure...immediately remove gasoline soaked shop rag to safe area outdoors.
2) lightly lube '0' rings on new fpr with clean motor oil before install.
3) test for ZERO leaks by turning key on/off several times before cranking/starting engine.
