"SYS" Notification on digital dash--Help
hello,
Started my 96ce yesterday, and I noticed something I have yet to see on my instrument cluster , every few seconds it would flash the letters "SYS" 2 times, then disappear for a few moments then return. It was flashing in where the speed is displayed so it wasn't a warning light on the dash area.
any ideas?

In the earlier '90's, the "sys" indicates a code stored in the CCM (not ECM). In my '92, there is a procedure to pull codes without a scanner. As your car is OBDII, don't know if it is the same with this, but you could look in the "stickies" at the top of this forum, or use the search function to find out what it takes to get this info on your car.
