Default HELP !! brake problem

While I was driving I noticed the brake is hard to press , so I decided to drain the brake lines and put new oil brake. I guessed the lines were dirty since the oil is too old , and it was black

opened the bolt that connected to the calibers and pressed the brake several times to allow the oil to drain....had hard time putting the stupid bolt that has small hole for the oil !! I don't know if I did it the wrong way !! but that bolt was really annoying ...

after doing that ::::::

ACR , ABS service lamps turned on !!! and also this signal ! . under the brake lamp

I opened the lines again...pressed the brake more and more ...the service lamps turned off ...BUT !!

the brake is soft and hardly stops the car while driving !!!

what happened ?

Did you add new fluid to the master cylinder as you pumped it out the bleeders? You may need some technical assistance to bleed the brakes properly.

You shouldn't have removed the bleeder valves from the calipers. They should be cracked open, the brake pedal depressed and tightened up before the pedal allowed to return to the top. This pushes fluid and air out the bleeders and air is not allowed to return.

That was the mistake I found when I tried to put the bolt back with the small hole directing to the calibers hols.....

so do I need to the this from the beginning ? I did the front brakes only !!!

Crap, Mohammed, that was the wrong bolt! That is the brake line fitting. The bleeder valve is a small valve at the top of each caliper.

Suggest you try to get some assistance- brakes are essential! You have to reassemble that fitting very carefully and bleed through the bleeder bolt.

You don't have to align the holes. Just put it together the way it came apart. Then bleed using the bleeder valves.

Bleed the brakes as described above to get operational and then buy some Speedbleeders:
