Default lt1 head????

What is the difference between a corvette lt1 head and a trans am lt1 head? Or any other factory aluminum head for an lt1. I did a search with no luck on an answer.

Nothing
F-body LT1 is identical to Vette LT1 except for 4 bolt mains on Vette version
Difference in factory adv Hp comes from the different exhaust systems used on each

Where do you get the tool for removing the plugs on the sides of the heads with the internal square? The size seems to be in between a 1/4 inch and 3/8 drive ratchet. Why not make it a common size square drive that everybody has? I may rig up a tool but don't think non hardened square bar will be strong enough.

I think it's 5/16 but I don't have a 5/16 drive ratchet or the tool for the job. It looks like the plug on a rear end or a transfer case Just not that size. Who sells them?
