I purchased a oil pressure sensor for my 90 auto coupe from napa. They said the correct one was one with 3 blades on the connector when I only have one wire. Does anybody know what part number I need for my one wire set up and where can I get it from? I installed this one and connected to the middle prong but now my check gauges light stays on and I have no idea why? My oil pressure seems to fluxuate nominally? I don't pull any codes either. Thoughts? Thanks a lot guys......

Because you have two oil pressure gauges; therefore you have two sender units
One is the 3 wire unit you got given that is also a switch to run fuel pump ( the other two pins )
The other unit is the 1 wire unit you need
AC DELCO # D1846 or equiv

Ok vry good to know there are two! I have the three prong one threaded in by the distributor and plum on the drivers side. I'm unaware where the other is at? I disconnected the three prong sensor completely being I only have one wire going to it and now my oil pressure gauge still seems to work and my "check gauges" light is now extinguished. I'm not sure where to go from here seeing everything looks good inside the cockpit and the car runs fine? Thanks for your patience and help guys, I really appreciate it!
