manual swap
ok. i have a 1993 corvette automatic and im wanting to do a swap. i want it to be a manual. i was wondering about how much it would cost me to do so. the feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Finished the ZF swap on my 87 about 2 months ago. Had my reasons for not selling it and buying a manual car. You can do it for probably as cheap as $2000 if you shop around and buy it as a "kit" from somebody who takes all the parts from a parts car. Some parts you should only use new however (clutch slave, master cylinder). I am very happy with my car now!

i went from auto to six speed Richmond and finding the parts was the biggest thing, I found the pedals, belhousing etc. from a vette that had 14000 miles on it from one of the sponcers on here, flywheel and clutch i bought from GM performance and the trans was the bigy from Ecklers for about 3200. but it was all worth it after it was all over
