Default clear tailights

I seen this 86 vette the other day that had clear tail lights with the red bulb in the center and I have been searching all over the internet trying to find them. I have had no luck in search. Does anyone know where I might find these tail lights. I'm usually not into the euro honda look but on this vette it looked pretty sharp and better than my lens covers.

That strange, there is huge market for that lights and NOBODY wants earn some money! Only that poopiety black and black and black...... :U :U :U :U :U

Does anybody have any pics of the clear, I was thinking about the same thing on my 86 if I don't go with the ZR1 style rear.
If I see one, I'll post a pic.

What language are you speaking? Did you finish 1st grade?
Look at his address info. I'd say english is his second, or third, language. :yesnod:

Oh, and in my opinion: Clear = :U

Remove the factory lenses and clean off any dirt. Place them in a shallow pan with a 50-50 mix of water and bleach. Let sit overnight. Rinse well and the red will be gone!

If there is any red color left, simply bang them hard against the 4 foot wing that you will probably install as the next item :U :U :U

o yes!!!!!!
before you attack you should read in left window where I live
so next time we could speek Polish if you wish :)
yes if I must have OEM rear lamps or black I prefer stay with OEM.
Black looks like that: :U
like junk items.
I think when clear will be done with enough quality it can look awesome on my white 35 th anniversary, I do not say that will look good in every color.
Black was on the top 20 years ago. That is another fact.
No I do not want rear wing, I think my 35 th anniversary is better without any wing but I saw there in forum some vettes with wings and zero sarcastic about that. So that sascasm is only for me?

About my grade:
I have Academy of Economics Cracow, Poland, full grade
and your grade MR KLLRVETT is...????
Difference is that: you only probably can speak in your native language and I can (ok, bad, not even good) speak in foregin too.
there in Poland US cars are very rare and good service is absent at all.
So everything I know about vette and another cars is from my service manual, motor trend and from that great forum. I had in my past a lot US cars: camaro, firebird another vette too.
I understand that read someone bad english is hard but all times I was thinking there are understanding people.

I like my vette very much so do not close my oportunity for knowlage, only that my English is bad MR KLLRVETT. I can be sarcastic too...

next time before you attack someone ....
Jerry, Poland
ps
Poland it is country in Europe MR KLLRVETT :)

Seriously, I was wrong. I jumped the gun before I saw where you were from. I am sorry for my smart arsed comment. I meant to be a little bit of sarcastic funny. I humbly apologize.

Jerry, (or is the Jerzi? - my polish is VERY weak).

There has been a lot of slamming of members who cannot write a complete sentence! And I am refering to Americans, who should, by all accounts, do much better.

I can appreciate your problem. Learning a foreign language... and then getting questioned about the usage! Wow... tough break!

I am a US Citizen. Proud of it. And am equally proud of my ability to construct a complete sentence.

But since my brother is dealing with a brain tumour, I have become much better at translating mixed up English... sad but true.

As for clear tail lights. There were some for sale in the C4 For Sale section. Stumbled into them last week. Just checked... they seem to have been sold. Check with chickenman, he was selling them and might be able to help you find some more.

By the way, us Pole's need to stick together! My grandparents came from Poland after WWI... yes, ONE!

My last name is Bogus - shortend from Boguschefski(spelling stinks!)

Thanks Andy for warm words.
My name is in Polish: Jarek (Jaros³aw), not Jurek (Jerzy)
Your last name is Boguszewski (in Polish) It is so easy to spell, try this: Brzeczyszczykiewicz, he he :D
PITA is that I understand everything in english, just have some trouble write what I think :cry (I think I think in Polish, not English :) )
I think it is cause I have no live contact with language, learn something vs use something is diffrent
But I have business USvisa in my passport so perhaps someday I fly to US and buy some speed stuff for my vette! :)

Eckler's has clear taillight lenses with red bulbs in their catalog, but only for 1991-2002. They also state that they are not legal for street use.

Hey, doesn't matter what language you speak, as long as you can whip out a mean polish sausage and give it to the ladies. :D
and
Cracow = Crack horse (only in bad english) ??
(That seriously was a joke)

My friend had a custom set made for the turn signal indicators on the rear of his 89. Over here we have to wire our rear lights so one is a brake light and the other an (orange) indicator. From what I recall they weren't too expensive.

As for being illegal, you can always take the view that it isn't illegal until you get pulled over for it...

Yes in Poland (and in all that socialism Europe) red turn lights are illegal. Turn must be orange, So my taillights are:
Two orange turn signals and two red stop/park
Jerry
I was thinking about clear taillights with ultra bright LED (that must be cool!)
