Hey guys,

I have an 85 corvette with a 406" motor.
Currently I have a roached (previous owner abused) 1985 tpi engine managment/harness, with what looks like a generation one aftermarket/modified MAF sensor, and a super ram intake.

I am switching over to a tpis mini ram, and fast EZ EFI multiport retrofit system.

Since I'll be ditching the MAF, I would like to get the best air intake system I can for this corvette. Currently it has a stock 85 box with a lid cut out for better "airflow". But the piping is narrow, specially with that MAF.

What are my options for the ducting and the air box?

try part #100-328 from TPIS, fiberglass unit; that's what I run. The stock 85 piece does not provide adequate air flow for a miniram powered car with aftermarket heads; not sure if the product is still available however.

I don't think the TPIS part is still available. I was looking at corvette catalog and they list a "Vortex Rammer Cold Air System", not sure how well it works the picture is not the best.

I am going to have a 58mm throttle body and then need the widest/best possible intake system. No MAF

Would a ZR1 style intake fit and where can I get it?

Any other suggestions?
