Which roller lifter for Comp xtremes
Okay which lifter should I use with a comp 276 xtreme lift camshaft. They recommend comp p/n 850-16. Why not the NAPA OEM replacement brand? Or GM OEM replacement. Finally why not a solid roller lifter?

The ramps on the extreme cam series are a lot more exgressive then OEM or other aftermarket brands, having a wrong suited lifter can lead to excessive wear on the cam or lifter. Solid lifters? You'll need to run a solid *roller i am assuming* cam, and convert over through a kit. Solids offer a lot more lift and duration, but you lose streetability, though many people run them fine on the street.
