Default Rack & pinion inner tie rods

Does anyone know how to get the inner tie rods off. I have tried and they will not budge. I do not see any roll pins, or something else holding them on.

Don't know if all years are the same, what year is your car? The inner tie rods on '92 are threaded into the ends of the rack. You need to remove and disassemble the rack to get the inner tie rods off.

The FSM has detailed assembly and disassembly instructions, with diagrams. The description covers several pages. Can you lay hands on the book?

The fat inner end of the rod is smashed flat on one side. Take a cut off wheel and cut the flat part away. Then unscrew the fat part. Right now, I'm guessing you are turning the rod but not really unscrewing anything.
