Help-Vette won't upshift

I have an '89 Vette-automatic. Runs and shifts great under normal operating conditions. Shifts fine until you get on it and you get to 100-105 mph. It then redlines and will not shift up. What is going on? :(

Has it been rebuilt? Sounds like you have a non-Vette valve-body. The non-vette valve body won't allow upshifts at WOT from 3-4.

Don't know if it has been rebuilt. This is a new problem-Until recently it shifted out fine at high speeds.

Its a tranny problem.. ;(
I JUST started getting the same issue with my '85 with 103K miles.. SNIFF SNIFF.
I pray it is not an expensive problem to fix.. ;(..
When floored she doesnt shift fomr 3rd to 4th. She usually shifted at around 110-115 but now I have to let up of the gas a bit then WOT to get it into 4th..

sound similar to a symptom I had in mine... I figured the throttle position sensor was at fault... I unplugged the connection, reconnected it... Problem is gone.

Give that a try (if it works saves lottsa $$) :yesnod:
