Bad shake
I just purchased a 94 coupe, on the drive home, approx. 400 miles, when cruising along at 70 and step on it just a bit it shakes really bad, like it can't decide if it wants to downshift or not, if you mash on it it seems to downshift normally and goes. It cruises nice, got 24 mpg on the drive home. Any Ideas ?

......... Sounds like the torque converter clutch is starting to lose its grip ......... it will shudder under medium loads and light throttle application when it starts slipping ... when you up the load or throttle angle the ECM unlocks it ................
