Default 88 rebuilt project

I'm starting my rebuild on my 88 Z52. The only problem I have, is the engine is in parts and I have moved several times. Now that I have retired from the army, I want to start the rebuild again. I'm getting the short block rebuild now, where can I go to find all the bolts, screws and any misc. things I may need. Could the forum also recommend a camshaft that I run without going the Ed.w route....

Thanks alot, haven't posted in a long time

vader86, yes, trying to stay on some sorta budget on this one. My plans are .30 over, hypereutectic pistons. I'm having my heads mill to 52cc. I would like to run a little higher compression, know my concerns are, what camshaft do I use.

Thanks

with that much engine work, i dont think iit would be advisable to not reprogram, but i think the LPE 211 cam is small enough to work right for you or maybe some small grind from Crane

I just dont believe it will be easy to tune it at all without a chip, it just wont run correctly, poor idle, missing at different places in the band and rich/lean problems, etc.

plus you wont have near as much power as you would with a custom chip
