I'm looking to get a kit in the next month and was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a group purchase? I'm thinking the NX kit but open to others at a good price. Any thoughts or interest ?
If you are serious, give me a call at 630-820-7400 and will get you the best price possible. Our shop name is The VetteWrench and we are a supporting tuner for the Corvette Forum.
To make things a bit easier, we can try to work out a package deal for everyone (bottle heater, bottle opener, etc...). Also, we can do a TNT system GP if everyone would like to go that route.
TNT scares me a little bit. From what I've seen in the past you get way more results than their jets are rated for. I could be completely wrong, but thats what I've seen. Almost like the labels on the jets are off by one.
Scorp, I've SEEN a TNT car on the Dyno (my partners Vette) shoot a 125 shot. It actually came out to a 140 shot. I don't like the idea of thinking I have one thing and actually having more then I expected/wanted.
I'm not concerned with different motors because, the NX kit is the same for the L98 and LT1. If you have something else, please say something in advance and I'll make sure the price is the same.
As far as the TNT price, the folks at TNT never returned my calls yesterday. I'll try again today.

Exactly my thoughts on that. Who's to say a 175 isn't going to be a 225? Freaks me out. :) I'd hate to blow something up because I was running more than I could without knowing it.
Yeah the kits are rated from one extreme to the other...TNT is high, others are low....No happy medium, but I would rather be low and then tune up to get what I really wanted instead of destroying it on the first shot.....
What kind of deal can you get us on the TNT system? Like maybe the F-2001-10. Also interested in price for the electric nitrous pressure gauge.

If we can get 5 people for the TNT kit, which I'm not to sure if we can, the price would be $600 plus shipping.
Now, about the jetting issue people have seen. I'm going to make some calls tomorrow and see if using NX jets would give a more accurate HP rating.
I'm guessing most people will want to go the NX route due to the price difference.
Let me know what you guys think so I can focus my efforts in the right direction. Thanks guys.
I just ordered the NX kit from NitrousWarehouse.com last night, it ran about $485 then with 15#bottle upgrade, the GenX III kit, and shipping it totaled out to around $950, I don't remember the exact number. Just some food for thought...
