You just need to shave do down the tops of the port s so they match the Lt1 intake But you will not see any gain if you just swap intakes so just save up and get the Lt4 heads so you don't waste time.

They speak the truth. You need the Lt4 heads to match up to the intake. I've been thinking about buying some of these heads for my next rebuild (next weekend.) Would you consider a swap for an Excessive Motorsports machined and ported LT1 intake off my '96? It's painted red to look like an LT4 and will bolt right up without any fuss. :hat

You need to get LT4 heads. AFR also make heads to use the Lt4 Intake. http://www.airflowresearch.com/ The look to be about $630 used for an assembled head from http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com/ or http://www.sdpc2000.com for an assembled head. Jeff Koop may have better prices. If you are looking to have the heads ported you might try to use your heads as a core.
