Default Rough running at light with A/C on...

Now that it's starting to become A/C weather, I had it on and I pulled up to a light and it would run a little rough in an oscillating maner. (Like.... chugachugachuga .. chug. chug chugachugachugachgua chug chu chua chugachugachuga)

What would cause this? The only thing I can think of is because of my vacuum being really high at low rpms & idle. I am yet to figure out how to get my vacuum up with this cam and the 383... any ideas?

when you say running rough, do you mean about to stall?

What do you mean by this? replace low with high, and high with low? I asume you mean vacuum is down?

Yes, it tries to stall.

I'm not really sure on the vacuum. All I know is everyone that has seen my datamaster logs says the vacuum is high, which tends to be the norm for a beefier cam.

Hmm, have you tried putting an actual vaccum gauge on it?
I think a stock L-98 pulls baout 18-19 vacuum at idle, when I put my zz9 in it pulled 13-14 PSI at vacuum.

Do you have to set the IAC on the LT1 like the L-98?
I set my min idle (IAC reset) with the AC on, it leaves the idle at ~800 with AC off, which is fine on my 6 speed, It also smoothes out the idle on the ZZ9 up there, I dont know what that will do with your Auto trans though....

According to the computer, I'm pulling like 40psi at idle. Idle is adjusted through the computer. I have it set to 800rpm in gear as well.
