I use the MSD 8.5 wires the are red. I have had them for 3 years now and they are in great shape. They are suppose to be very low resistant wires. They also have very good boots.
I run a bosch platinum plug, some will argue with this but I have had nothing but good results with them as well. Not the +4 things, the standard plugs.
A nice setup would be HyperTech coil/cap/rotor, MSSD 8.5mm SuperConcuctor wires (you'll need looms too) and A/C Delco plugs with cut-back ground electrodes gapped to .045"-.048".
For some good center-bolt wire looms, check out the Summit catalog.
My vote is for MSD super conductor wires and they are red. I have been through three set of wires in less than a year before installing the super conductors. I put on a new set of blue max wires and my ignition was hot enough that it made fubar out of them in about 100 miles. For those that don't know fubar is F++ked up beyond any recognition.
Allways used 8.5 Magnecor Race wires and never had a problem. My brother uses them on his GN and T-Type and you know them things get hot and he's never had a problem with them. :seeya
