FM/5's with C5 Brake ?
Is anyone running this setup, I am wondering if there are any issues with clearance..
I am going to install the brakes first, then measure before I order the wheels but if anyone has this set up it would save some time..
I am planning on running 17 x 9.5 in front hopefully with the standard offset it there are not any problems.

You can try calling fiske and baer - I believe the GT+ kit uses the PBR C5 calipers.
The C5 calipers are better than the C4, no question - but are they worth an upgrade? Have you price a 4 or 6 piston setup? Those calipers will generally be much more resistance to spreading, etc. than even the C5 calipers.

I have thought about going to the 4 or 6 piston setups but at this point it isn't worth the extra money to me.. I need a brake that has solid performace when driven hard on the street and looks good through the wheels.. In the future I will upgrade if I start auto x or doing road course, but at this point i unfortunatly just don't have the time for those things
I did call someone from Fikse and they are getting back to me, they said they are sure that they have encountered this and the person who can answer is not in till the morning. If i can find someone that has actually used the setup it will just verify and make this go quicker...I don't want to get the wheels here and then they are 1/8th of an inch off

I really doubt that there woud be any clearance problems but call Fikse or Baer first. If there is a problem the GS brakes are all but as good as the C5 brakes.

I will let you know, I am doing all the research with fiske and should hear something today.. As I said in and earlier post they said they are sure that they have encountered this and they just wanted to make sure. I am assuming there will be no problem
