[Tear Down Update 4]: Things start going back together.
Hi. :) I only worked from about 3-7 today and got a few things done.
1. Lingnfelter 74219 Camshaft Installed
2. Lifters Installed
3. Cloyes True Roller Timing Set Installed
4. Timing Cover refinished and installed w/new gasket & seal.
5. Oilpan Gasket Installed
6. Oilpan installed.
Tomorrow I'll try to install the balancer and maybe the water pump.

Sorry, I didn't take pics of the timing cover refinished. It looks really nice. :) I left the timing tab polished and the rest of the cover is gloss black.

Pretty simple really, you only have 3 choices to pick from. I installed it straight up @ 0 degrees. The lower sprocket on the Cloyes timing set has 3 keyways to choose from: -4*, 0*, and +4*. The rectangular one is 0*. So...
1. Install lower sproket on rectangular keyway.
2. Turn crankshaft until rectangular image is at 12 o'clock.
3. Install camshaft with dowel pin at 9 o'clock.
4. Install upper sprocket & chain with timing dot at 12 o'clock.
5. Make sure a straight line passes through both timing marks.
All done. :) It really was simple.
