Default Grease zerk size

What's the size of the thread for the grease point on Amgauge or Precision universal joint kits?

If you haven't installed them, you might want to think about exchanging them for the nongreasable ujoints. They are stronger without the threaded hole for the zerk fitting.

Well I've already done one side and the reason I'm asking for the thead details is, it was a bitch getting a grease gun on the joints, so am thinking of using an angled grease point and just want to be sure of the thread type.

What's the 28 mean in the thread size?

28 threads per inch = national fine thread.

Get an adaptor for your grease gun that has a pointed tip. The tip pushes the check ball that seals the fitting back into the fitting & will let grease into the joint.

here's what the adaptor looks like.

If it's metric, try either 6 or 8mm.
