thanks for the info! Any other systems anyone likes?
Re: Which forced air induction system? (Corvette Kid 92)
The claw is not a forced induction air intake.
The only forced inductions are the one that goes through the front plate and the Breathless unit that I am aware of. People have complained about the quality of the C4 unit though.

Re: Which forced air induction system? (Corvette Kid 92)
The claw looks like something that makes filter replacement 3X as much.
Probably just as good with an open lid & k&n or similar.
I have the breathless c4 kit haven't had any problems with it!
Before I just cut a hole on the back of my stock box and shroud, this worked great but I soon realized it was bypassing the filter when leaves got in my MAF! Ooops!
I believe TPIS has a 180 degree air intake for c4's that uses the stock type filter flipped over and you cut the shroud to get cool forced air. This was the setup I was going with but they were on backorder when I last checked. Therefore I went with the breathless, it has a clear box that houses the filter so you can see down in there to check filter without removing!
I do know this, no matter how you do it, getting the cool air from underneath works!!!
Re: Which forced air induction system? (Corvette Kid 92)
Here is the Forced Air Induction system it requires cutting a hole in the front support as well as the shroud. Here is one they call the cold air box, it requires cutting the shroud Here is the Claw, doesn't require any cutting Here is the vortex, which requires cutting the shroud also (pic is on a C5)
