Dash cluster problems (HELP ME!!!!)
I have the same old digital-dash-itus that almost every other owner of a C4 has had out there. But I have an extra one that I haven't read anything about. On my speedometer the lights are too bright:cry . Instead of being dark green when I'm idling, the digital readout is bright green. When I'm going down the road I can't see any bars because there is no distinction between the background and the bar. I've been watching the tach for speed up until now. The middle part of the tach is doing the same thing. :sad: I can see the bars at the lower and upper part of the tach but not in the middle. I've printed out the December 1999 article from Corvette magazine about Corvette dash diagnosis. I'm going to look at the grounds and replace all of the lights I can. But since this problem is not described, I wonder if it will fix it? Has anyone else had this problem? :confused:

sounds like you have a busted LCD, lots of $$ if thats it cuz you might have a hard time finding one

Ouch.......wow, I hope not. Hey, has anyone out there got some extra LCD panels for a 1984 vette that are just laying around, taking up space? Please...pretty please............ :yesnod:
