I had an oil change and lube performed on my 89 with 14000 miles at BETLEY Chevy in DERRY NH while doing it they broke my oil fill cap and scratched the valve cover. After confronting them they said that they did not do it, after a long and heated discussion, they stated they were not going to make good.
Just to let all NH vets know beware. :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad
I had the same kind of problem when I brought my new Grand Prix to get its first our change. When the moron at the shop put it on the lift he didn't position the arms in the right place and dented the floor pan on the passenger side and put a scratch in the ground affect on the drivers side. When I spoke with the manager he said it was there before the car came in. Remember this is a brand new car and its first oil change. There was no point to keep on arguing with this guy so I walked out and never to return. From now on im doing all my own oil changes. This is why I dont let anyone touch my Vette. I know how you feel.
Hey Joe,
I've come to the conclusion that you'd be better off taking your car through a bonfire than bringing it to ANY Chevy dealer in our Granite State... :smash: :smash: :smash:
Missed you at the meeting last Saturday...it was crowded!! :seeya
It looks like they put on channel locks or something similar to break the fill cap and it srcaped the vc. The reason I took it in is I am handicaped and can not use eather arm ( Shatter both elbows no flexabilty in arms) Will find someone to do for me with my supervision.
