I'm getting a fogger system gathered up for my 90 super ram setup. Should I change my stock fuel pump or leave it alone? I plan on running a 150 shot and I figured it might be preventative maintence.
Re: Should I change fuel pump before nitrous install? (AS84)
Yes,
Fuel pump is a cheap replacement and easy to change at home (about 45 minutes to change mine).
The stock pump is good for about 325-350 HP and you will need to go to another higher flowing pump to handle the possible 400-450 hp you plan on making. I suggest you install a Walbro 255lph high flow pump. Should be under $125 if you shop around.

I replaced mine also and I found out that the Holley and Granatelli brand are both identical Walbro fuel pumps. But the Holley was about 50 bucks higher. Granatelli lists thier pump for a mustang but it is the same pump as the Holley for the Chevy.

Walbro pump a must. Last yrs I installed a NX kit on my 93LT1 w/ top end package. Running stock pump and Walbro 255lph inline. On the dyno its lean out at 4200rpm. Then we replaced the intank stocker with Holley 255lph. For top end mods car with 100hp shot, you will need dual 255lph fuel pumps.
