Default CODE 14 Where to look?

Recently a code 14 has appeared on my "88" coupe. I replaced the sensor near the thermostat and this did not clear the code. What else should I be looking for? As always thank you...........JNP

Check wiring, connectors, thermostat. Monitor actual engine temperature. If within limits, and wiring/connector is OK, change thermostat and/or sensor.

On my 84 the sensor (for the computer)is in the "front" of the passenger side head. The sender for the guage is in the driverside head between cylinders 1 & 3.
They may have moved it to where you say," near the thermostsat".Could it be possible you changed the sender for the temperature guage or for something eles?
Just trying to help.
