How do i install a Muffler eliminator on my 1987 corvette convertible? I am replacing the stock mufflers but i just need to know if have to weld off the existing mufflers and the clamp the new muffler eliminators on, or if the mufflers will come off another way.

Measure off what you need to cut off .

Measure not once but at least 3 times.

If you have a Chain style exhaust tubing cutter,

You will slice through the old pipe in a hurry...........

Like a hot knife cutting through butter.
