I need to replace an o2 sensor on the passenger side rear on the 96 lt1. I can't reach the connector, much less remove the sensor. I have been busting butt all day and can't get close to replacing the sensor. I got the wrench set from autozone, no where close to working on this sensor.
Do I have to remove the cat? any tips on that? I tried but could not get close to removing the cat....there must be some secret to this job....I just replaced the opti and water pump and that is easier than this o2 sensor!
Any help would be great! Thanks guys

I have 2 Snap On heavy duty radiator hose removal picks.
I use them to get into hard to reach places where only a small child's hands would fit.
One Snap On pick is 8" inches long.
The 2nd Snap On pick is 24" inches long.
With the pair of heavy duty picks I can reach any electrical connector(s) in tight confined areas every time.
I can not do my daily job as an auto and diesel mechanic without them.
Modern cars, trucks, SUV's and Semi trucks are too tightly packed together under the hood and undercarriage for my meat hook hands to fit into always.
