Default Good OBD2 Code Reader

I need a good and cheap OBD2 code reader. Is an Actron CP9125 any good for just basic use? Thanks!

I have used an AutoXray for many years. It is adaptable to a variety of cars and come with a variety of cables. It also has a datalogging capability that can be downloaded to your laptop and analyzed.

I've never used Actron-but I do have a older model AutoXray that I use at home and for what I paid-it works great. I also have a high dollar SnapOn scanner w/scope etc. that I occasionally bring home from work for more advanced diagnosis. For DIYers AutoXray offers many models which are very good IMO

I have an Actron not sure what model but it works ok for basic stuff like finding a miss and getting basic data and codes but my snap on works better as far as doing system tests. If you get one cheap the Actron works good for a code reader and basic data. Some of the tests in the fsm are not suported on the actron .
