Default Pro-Flow XT Install

I have partially installed a Pro-Flo XT, here are a couple of pictures:

http://trevorroebuck.com/Cars/default2.asp

I still have to run the fuel lines and fuel pressure regulator so I haven't heard it run yet. I want to run braided fuel lines between the hardlines and the fuel rails, but I am worried about people reporting fuel smells with the braided lines. My questions is: Are there any braided lines that don't reak of fuel other than the teflon ones?

Thanks,
Trevor

No not yet I was trying to hurry up and get it running in case we move. I originally ported the heads to match the height of the LT-1 manifold and then needed to port the LT-1 manifold's width to match the heads, but I had a lot more work to do on the manifold and found a really nice deal here on the Pro-Flo. I will eventually finish the LT-1 manifold. The holes were welded up so that I can bolt it to an older style head. The next step will be to drill them out in the right location, but my mill is currently torn apart for a repaint.

Depending on the future I may pull the manifold off to polish it and at that point I would port it to match. It wasn't a series hog job on the porting, but more of a blending and port match. For now I just want to hear it run.

Thanks,
Trevor

Thanks for getting the picture up. I figure that I should be able to flow 750cfm with the special rag throttle body.

Yep. I was going to have somebody paint my car but everytime I got a quote it went up by a grand. Last time I said screw it and bought a hood instead. The original hood didn't fit because I went with the laid back radiator pod, so I bought a Toledo hood for the same year vehicle that fit the pod. Now the radiator pod fits and had enough room not to limit my manifold selection. The intake I bought on this forum and it arrived looking brand new. I have a threaded regulator to buy and some fuel lines and I look forward to seeing what it sounds like. As soon as that happens I will post some audio. I ended up buying the whole harness, computer and calibration module.

Thanks,
Trevor
