Air Cond. Comp
I went to a local cruise last night and when I opened the hood,there was oil slung on the hood and ac lines. I traced it back to the compressor, so I'll have to have this rebuilt or get a new one . I have a 93 its R12, can anyone recommend a good rebuilder, or will the 94 134 comp. bolt right up to mine so I can change over thanks Jim

If you're handy with tools, you can replace the shaft seal for about $50. A kit is available through NAPA or can order from http://www.acsource.com. Make sure you get the seal and gasket set. You will also want to replace the Drier and Otube.

Bought a brand new sealed box GM compressor with clutch on EBAY for $100 plus ship. There are a bunch of compressors on there. Go to http://www.acdelco.com to get your part #. You will find that your part will fit other GM autos as well which will widen your search possibilities. If you strike out, e-mail me and I will dig out the address of the guy I bought mine from. He said he had a bunch of them.
