passed 80K yesterday - shocks are bad?
Passed 80k yesterday on my 91, my question would be - what's a good time/mileage that shocks would require replacing? the ride feels rough and bumpy - but i've just contributed that to it being a vette. just curious when others have chaged their shocks.

its a good idea to replace them at 75-80K, by that time theyre well worn

I now have over 100,000 on mine and my truck has 181,000 miles on the original shocks.

I know I upgraded from stock Delco/ Bilsteins to Bilstein Z51's at 32,000 miles. I noticed a big improvement on my 1993 in terms of resiliency, more reactive rebound, and the stiffer nature of the shocks in general.
