Parking brake light
Hi Everyone,
on my 1995 Vette, i have checked the parking brake system and it is working fine, but the light on the dash flickers dimly or stays on.
Where is the switch near the handle that i can check or replace?

The plastic cover over the brake handle is held on by 2 phillips screws. Use a close clearance or stubby screwdriver to remove those, then carefully lift the cover off over the handle. You should be able to see the switch at the rear of the parking brake mechanism. I'm not sure if you can clean or remove the switch without removing the parking brake handle. If you must remove the handle, pulling the driver's seat first makes the job much easier. Good Luck!
