Default Replacing plug wires while doing front spring? Easier access?

Like the subject line says. I haven't been under the front of the car yet but I have read how hard the wires are to replace. I plan on doing the front spring in the next week or so and I need to do the plug wires too, will I have easier access at this time? See thread

Thanks,
Sam

I looked at doing my plug wires from below and decided not to. But I remember one post, several months ago where the driver;s side was done that way from below. I did mine when I replaced the water pump and optispark. The passenger's side are a piece of cake. The drivers side more difficult, but not too difficult with the water pump removed. If you can wait till you need a waterpump for the undamaged 7 you may be better off. Make sure to remove the serpentine belt tensioner, one bolt to remove, not the one that holds the pulley on. This will give you a lot more access to remove the wires from the opti at the drivers side. I also found it easier to unbolt the power steering pump to get the wires routed in properly although others did not have to do this. FrankLT4CE :chevy

Thanks for the reply. The car is pretty new (check my sig, currently at 8600 miles) so the water pump is a long way off. I've removed the top pump on the driver's side to do the header, I think it was the PS pump although I didn't really pay attention. I suppose the hoses were for PS huh? I'll take a look again.
