Injector selection for my 87
This is a topic that has been covered in the past but cant remember the details. I am on a very tight budget but need to replace or repair my injectors. What do you all recomend as far as brand and amount of flow. My engine is stock except for the usual external mods. I want to go as inexpensive as possible but not cut corners. All oppinions would be very appreciated. :cheers: Thanks all.

Look in the Lingenfelter website...they're selling Accel Injectors (set of 8) for $295.00

87 stock injector Bosch# 280150239 21.5lbs/hr @ 43psi

Ford Motor Sports 24 lb/hr @ 39psi injectors flow 27lbs/hr @ 43psi, the 87 Vette stock pressure is 43psi the Ford injectors are slower than the GM ones. To fine tune them, you should change the Inj. Offset vs. Battery Voltage to a higher value. If you don't, will it have any real effect,... no.

Send your injectors to Rich at Cruzin Performance (link on my site). He reconditions and flow tests them for $10/injector. He can now also do the cold start injector too. He will flow match them with an additional cost of $5 for each injector that needs to be replaced. He has 48hr turn-around, check out the site for more info and e-mail him. He's very prompt with responses, but won't be back in the office till Mon.
I'm pulling my set this weekend while doing the intake and all 9 are off to him ASAP.
