AC Not Cooling Properly
My AC cools as it should while the car is moving. When stopped at a light or just idling it stoppes cooling and the compressor cycles on and off. Anyone know what might cause this.

if it cools normal while driving then you have a condenser cooling problem. once you stop the cond. heats up until your compresser cuts out on high pressure. check that your radiator is clean and same for condenser. make sure that nothing is blocking the flow of air. make sure your fan runs while the A/C is on.

Both points made are valid. I think the "low on refrigerant" is probably more likely.
The compressors on cars are variable speed and are most efficient at 1500 to 2000 rpm (cruising speed). At idle they don't put out squat. Even a fully charged one doesn't do well.
