First of all check if you need Non self aligning or self aligning style
Would be a nice time to install chrome moly hardened pushrods

Like mentioned above, if your using the stock 89 heads you will need to get either self aligning rockers or install hardened push rods and plates along with non self aligning rockers.The plates on there now are not hardened..WW

You can stay with self aligning if you want. I put in Scorpion SA 1.6 full RR's in my 1989 with LT4 springs and it worked great. Easy and inexpensive. If you plan on racing the car a change to non SA might make sense.
