Fuel Injection
This is my second post. Thanks for giving me Jons web site on injectors. Sorry to say he couldn't help me. So I'm back looking for help.
I have a 86 with tpi. Last winter I pulled apart the engine down to the manifold. I had a oil leak in back. I had it all apart and desided to polish some of the aluminium. It looks great but oh my god what alot of work. When I pulled the fuel rail apart I found corrosion where the rail conects to the fuel regulator. When I put it back together the corrsion was to much for the o ring to stop the leak. Here's my question Where do I find a new rail and fuel regulator housing without going to a GM dealer. I'm sure I could buy a new car for what they want. I can find many places that sell the regulator but no body sells the housing it bolts to.

WORST case - tap where the regulator went, and run an external regulator.
A more costly solution might be to have someone real good with TIG welding weld it back up and with a mill should be able to re-machine it to accept the regulator again - but that will probably run more than a new aftermarket manifold with rails!
