exhaust and poor engine running ques.
Good morning,
My father just purchased a 86 Coupe and asked me to post 2 questions as he is not computer literate.
1. Does anyone know of an exhaust manufacturer that makes a quite muffler? He is not concerned about high flow, just noise reduction.
2. He got some gas with water in it a couple weeks ago and the motor is still running irratically. He has run Sea Foam through it, dry gas, and has filled it up twice since then. He knows there was water in it because he manually drained several gallons out and ended up with approx. a tbs. full of water in the funnel screen. He is very mechanical and has done everything he can think of up to and including unhooking the battery to see if that helped. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated?

I'd replace the fuel filter but also remember the water in the gas may just be a coincidence and you have something else wrong too.
