shorted pos battery connection to engine. I now have no power to car. I can't locate blown fuse!! where else should I look

take the battery out and look at the 1/2 doz fuasble links under and behind the battery. They all mount on the "jumping post" toward the door hinge. That is where power to everything originates. The cable on the battery is just for the starter.
