Default 87 bone stock, suggestions.....

I have an 87 which is bone stock, looking for performance suggestions, as we all know these cars are kinda slooooo....considering simple bolt on maybe new injectors.
Basically what can I do without reprogramming computer to boost up some ponies?
Thanks for any input

First priority in my opinion is routine maintenance to make it run the way it should in the first place. I understand these aren't as fast as newer cars but if they are running properly they are still fun and fairly fast. When I bought my 88 I was not at all impressed with it but after fixing the problems it runs pretty well. Make sure you diagnose any problems correctly before spending money. I found my biggest problem was plugged exhaust and bad injectors making it run poorly. Previous owner did plugs, wires. cap, rotor, ignition module, EGR valve, coolant temp sensor. mass air flow sensor, engine computer, water pump and radiator. It ran poorly and still ran warm on the highway because of the exhaust blockage so he gave up and I took over from there. I removed the O2 sensor to let some exhaust out and it ran much better so I fixed the exhaust, installed a new O2 sensor and replaced the injectors (Thanks to Jon at FIC) and it runs like new again.
