I am considering purchasing a 'tuner chip' for my '92, and I know it plugs into the PCM module, but could someone tell me where, and perhaps provide a picture. Thanks.
There should be a access plate/cover w/2 screws on the ECM--remove the cover plate and the prom/chip plugs into the circ. board---remove the OEM chip and plug the new chip in it's place. It's easy to miss or bend the terminals on the chip or board so use care if you go that route.
On your previous thread the members here advised you to go with a mail order or a dyno tune. They gave you good advice. You'll get much better results (HP/torque) with a tune that is tailored to your specific vehicle then anything you can buy off the shelf. Most of the members here have "been there and done that" so to speak.
