Belt tensioner release problem..
Anyone know what size socket is needed to loosen the belt tensioner, trying to get belt off so I can remove the frisbee but it seems that 9/16's is too small and 5/8's will start to round the head if I try to exert pressure... The head is not rounded and I wondered if maybe I'm dealing with metric which I have none that big.. before going and buying a set I figured someone here might know... :confused:

My 1st time trying to get the belt off last year..
...I nearly had the tensioner removed before asking how to do it; love this Forum.
I love to wrench on my Corvette so I keep comming back.
BTW, you should bring that fine looking Corvette to Raceway Park on Sat. July 27 for the Vette Magazine " East Coast Corvette Show & Go". It's a nice day of Corvette show and/or racing.
